Total number of cell lines decreased significantly in sample_info.csv released in 22Q1

Hello,

I have a quick question regarding the total number of cell lines that are included in the most recent 22Q1 release.

Comparing the total number of cell lines with information, I am counting 2944 cell lines for the 21Q3 release and 1828 for the current 22Q1 release.

Could someone from the depmap team comment on the significant decrease of cell lines associated with the current release? Would be interesting to know why they were removed.

Hello,

This was due to a mistake in the 21Q3 release, where lines for which we have no data in the portal where included by mistake.
