A year ago Ive done an analysis using the aneuploidy score in the data explorer.
Now I wanted to recreate this analysis however the data wasnt there anymore.
When looking I found a different version is available for download.
I wanted to ask how was the new version generated if it was taken down becasue it is less accurate then what is available now?

The aneuploidy score previously in Data Explorer under “Global genomic signatures” was mistakenly removed and we are working on adding it back soon. The aneuploidy scores in download in the file “OmicsGlobalSignatures.csv” are the same as the ones used to be in Data Explorer, and there’s been no update to this aneuploidy calling pipeline in the last 2 years.
If you came across aneuploidy_scores.csv under the CCLE arm-level CNV tab, that is a legacy version of aneuploidy calls including fewer cell lines.
