Hello,
I had a look at article “Prioritization of cancer therapeutic targets using CRISPR–Cas9 screens, Fiona M.Behan” (Prioritization of cancer therapeutic targets using CRISPR–Cas9 screens | Nature), in which, in Supplementary table 2, we can find a tab “a. fitness gene summary”, by tissue, cancer type and cell line, composed of 0 and 1 values.
However, this list is three years old (2019) and the number of tissues, cancer types and genes is quite limited.
So, I’ve dowloaded the 5 CRISPR datasets from DepMap (CRISPR (Project Score, CERES), etc.) with the hope of being able to reconstruct a table similar to the additional data 2, but with up-to-date data.
Could you please tell me if the CRISPR data from DepMap are enough ?
Do I have to use BAGEL algorithm to transform continous data into binary ones ?
Does anyone have an idea on the way to process ?
Thanks in advance,
Best regards,
Nathalie
