Question about the naming rule for drugs in Custom Downloads data

Greeting,

We have a certain question about the naming rule for drugs in Custom Downloads data. Since there are data from different sources and your team has formated them into fixed formats, we wonder if the names of drugs are the same among various files so that it will be more convenient to conduct comparative analysis. If not, could you please guide us to the exact drug name comparison table which will help a lot for our research.

Thanks for your consideration and looking forward to your prompt reply.

Sincerely,

Yibo Wang

Hello,

Yes, we have a file which contains how we’ve merged our compounds across all the different drug screens. You can find this mapping in PortalCompounds.csv

The SampleIDs field has the sample identifiers which were used in the original files we ingested (after we prepended a prefix for each source to avoid ID collisions) and CompoundName is what we call the compound in the DepMap portal.

Thanks,
Phil
