Disease annotation cell line ACH-001193

Hello!

I have a question regarding the disease annotation for the cell line ACH-001193.

The disease for ACH-001193 was previously annotated as a Primitive neuroectodermal tumor, but is now annotated as an Ewing sarcoma (since DepMap release 23Q2). Cellosaurus annotates the disease as Primitive neuroectodermal tumor (NCIt: C3716). I was wondering what drove the change of disease for this cell line?

Hi Daphne,

Yes, we’re reclassified this line based on it’s features that appear to align more closely to ES, including it’s characteristic EWSR1-FLI1 fusion.
