Change to fusion calls in 2025 releases?

Hi,
I’m noticing that a fusion in the OMICS Fusions file becomes strongly correlated to sensitivity to KO of a gene I am interested in when I look in the 2025 releases, but not in earlier versions. Please could you let me know, was there a change to the identification of fusions in the last couple of releases that explains the difference?

Hi,

In 25Q2, DepMap switched the fusion calling pipeline from STAR-fusion to Arriba (v2.5.0). That should explain some of the changes in the fusion data.
