User drug sensitivity (PRISM Repurposing Primary screen)

Hello,

What do the values in this mean? Log2 ic50?

We generally have the units at the bottom of plots, which should answer the question. The primary screen was a single point assay, so it should be some measure of viability normalized to a control.

Pulling up an arbitrary compound in data explorer, it appears it’s log2 fold change over the control.

Thanks,

Thank you for your reply. Does “a single pont” mean a certain concentration? Cells were treated at a certain concentration, and cell viability was normalize to control?

Correct. The primary repurposing screen was done at a single concentration, and cell viability was normalized to a control. You can read more details about the experiment by following the references listed on this page which describes the repurposing dataset and associated paper.
