Missing Gene data in Expression Public 24Q2

Specifically, Cell Line Selector expression data for BST2 returns an empty set for all cell lines in 24Q2.

Hi,

I am able to see BST2 in both the batch-corrected and non-batch corrected expression datasets. Are you only observing this issue with this particular gene? Can you share more details on how you are using cell line selector?

Sure –

In the cell line selector, if I add a column for gene expression (Expression Public 24Q2), everything looks (top picture) until I add the column to the view, then the entire column is blank (i.e. the data is not rendering in within the view (bottom image) . I hope my description makes sense. Thanks!!!

Yes, this definitely appears to be a bug in cell line selector. I’ll ask a developer to investigate what is going on here.

As for workarounds, the data exists, so you should still be able to get the see the values via “Custom Downloads” or in Data Explorer in the mean time. I’m pretty sure the bug is specific to just the cell line selector tool.
