I have been using DepMap v 1.0 for analyses where I would like to label the cells from a list of defined cell line context. Does anyone know how I can do this labeling in V 2.0? There used to be a button for labeling cells in v 1.0, but it seems like we can no longer access it. Thank you!
Are you saying you have a list of cell line names, and you want them labeled in a plot?
If so, you can do the following:
- Define your list of cell lines as a context in context Manager
You can define a context for a list of lines by chosing “ModelID” and “is in list” and then you can paste your IDs. (Or you can chose CellLineName if you have names of cell lines)
Now, with our list defined, we can hit “Save”
Then in data explorer, we can load this context as the current selection using the “Plot Selections” box on the right.
Click on “set selection from a context” and you’ll get a dialog box for choosing your context
Saving that will take you to the plot with those lines labeled
Thanks,
Phil
Yes, I want my list of cell lines to be labeled in a plot. Thank you so much Phil! I am still learning how to use some of the features of v 2.0 and your step-by-step guide is so helpful! Best, Karen
