Different number of genes in CERES and Chronos gene effect

Hello,

I believe there is a bug somewhere in the processing of the gene effects from CERES and Chronos because there are 252 genes in CERES that are not in Chronos. If this is not a mistake, can you explain why those genes were excluded from Chronos?

Hello! There are fewer genes in the Chronos dataset because, unlike CERES, Chronos does not attempt to model sgRNAs which target multiple genes. More details on why this decision was made can be found in the Chronos preprint: Chronos: a CRISPR cell population dynamics model | bioRxiv

Thank you for the clarification.
