If you draw the results for a given genes, and compare the set of data of CRIPR vs. RNAi, there is no correlation. Maybe I miss something important here but how is that? (Some gene like strong validated ‘target’ as BRAF show some corelation, but sems poor to me?)
Apologies for the delayed response. RNAi and CRISPR are measuring different things. RNAi partially reduces the number of transcripts whereas CRISPRcas9 typically produces a knockout mutation, and the phenotypic results of these two methods may have different results depending on gene intrinsic details. Hope this helps.
