Are IC50 values downloadable from DepMap log or z-transformed or normalized in some way?

Hello,

I would like to know if IC50 values that can be downloaded as part of the files below are transformed (such as log transformation, z-scores). I couldn’t find any README file that explains how those values were derived. I see the publication links but I would like to know if I need to further normalize them before I can perform any downstream analysis on them.

Hi Ashutosh,

Apologies for the late reply. Today on portal, we have the combined sanger-dose-response.csv file which has the original published IC50 values from the Sanger Institute (in micro molars). My recommendation would be log-transforming them before using them in downstream analysis, but using them as it is also pretty common in the field.
