# RNAi equivalent of gene dependency probabilities

Hi DepMap team,

I notice that for the CRISPR screens, you have the following downloadable dataset:

**CRISPRGeneDependency.csv:** Gene dependency probability estimates for all models in the integrated gene effect.

Is there an equivalent for RNAi screens i.e reported as probabilities?

We do, and to my surprise, it doesn’t appear to be listed in the downloads section of the portal. That’s an oversight, and I’ll put it on the list to add the file set which contains the probabilities to the portal.

While “Custom downloads” isn’t ideal for fetching entire datasets, it should work, so in the mean time you can go to:  
[DepMap — Verification](https://depmap.org/portal/data_page/?tab=customDownloads) and select the “PR” dataset that corresponds to RNAi:

And download it from there.

I’ll try to get the original file posted in the next few days or so.

Glad that resolved it. Comparing DEMETER2 RNAi dependency probabilities against CRISPR Chronos scores helps filter out false positive dependencies.

Sorry about the delay getting this out. We’re so close to doing a full refresh of the data in the DepMap portal for the 26Q3 DepMap release, I decided to bundle the addition of these downloadable files with the bigger update.

(I’m currently expecting the update to go out to the public either at the end of this week or perhaps the beginning of next week)

I’ve added the RNAi files to the downloads in the our release branch and so they’ll appear in downloads once the 26Q3 update is announced.

I’ll update this thread with the URL to the files once they’re live.
