# Missing Expression data?

I received an odd notification when i tried to correlate MCL1 dependency with expression (see attached). i have done this in earlier versions with no issues and it worked fine when i tried other genes. Any thoughts?

Hello Lawrence,

Thank you for your feedback! This is a known issue for this release. It seems due to an update in our gene renaming tool. This issue appears for genes that have isoforms which are not matching between ensembl and NCBI. It will be fixed in the upcoming summer release (21Q3).

A quick solution for now is to download the data and correlate it manually. (MCL1 is present in the expression dataset).
