# CCLE/Depmap License Clarification

Having trouble finding license terms for the following files, and would appreciate support:

Per another thread files submitted on figshare are CC4.0 though haven’t been deposited to past 25Q1.

When you click the download link [OmicsExpressionTPMLogp1HumanProteinCodingGenes.csv](https://depmap.org/portal/data_page/?file=OmicsExpressionTPMLogp1HumanProteinCodingGenes.csv&release=DepMap+Public+25Q3&tab=allData) it should show you the following dialog box (in fact it should show this for all files):

which offer the terms of use. We used to deposit data into figshare under a CC4.0 license, but stopped doing when DepMap switched to terms of use which were not compatible with the CC4.0 license.

As a result, the zenodo repository is not valid and appears to have been created by someone unaffiliated with the DepMap project. They should not have posted those files claiming they have a CC4.0 license.
