Different screens are of different quality, and so rather than set a threshold on Gene Effect, we encourage people to use the Probability of Dependency values and set a threshold on that instead.

See [How is the probability of dependency different from the gene effect score?](https://forum.depmap.org/t/how-is-the-probability-of-dependency-different-from-the-gene-effect-score/162) for more information.

Thanks,
Phil
